Behind the Blotter with the Peshtigo Times

The Marinette Police Department issued a correction regarding an incident that was published in the Feb. 18, 2026, “Behind the Blotter with the Peshtigo Times.”

The department mistakenly reported that Jennifer Vista was cited for driving too fast for the conditions on Feb. 5. Instead, Allen Dryer received the citation.

February 6

• At 8:38 a.m., a 26-year-old male was arrested for driving with a revoked license at 10th St. and 38th Ave.
• At 12:51 p.m., officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at 10th Ave. and 11th St. that caused functional damage but no injuries; a 61-year-old male was arrested for failing to stop and identify himself at the scene.
• At 8:09 p.m., a 20-year-old male was arrested in the 1100 block of 7th St. for felonious assault, two counts of resisting and obstructing police, and a probation violation.

February 7

• At 3:41 a.m., a 23-year-old male was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and refusing a preliminary breath test at 10th St. and 38th Ave.
• At 2:21 p.m., a 42-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant in the 800 block of 10th Ave.
• At 4:33 p.m., a 40-year-old male was arrested for having no vehicle insurance at 14th Ave. and 1st St.
• At 6:51 p.m., officers assisted a motorist locked out of a vehicle in the 1200 block of 9th Ave.
• At 7:37 p.m., a 32-year-old female was arrested for felonious assault and child cruelty in the 500 block of 6th Ave.

February 8

• At 2:06 a.m., a 42-year-old male was arrested at 13th St. and 11th Ave. for a second-offense OWI, having no operator’s license, and possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle.
• At 7:03 p.m., officers investigated a report of larceny and assault in the 1800 block of 11th St.

February 9

• At 11:56 a.m., officers investigated a dog attack in the 1300 block of 13th Ave.
• At 5:00 p.m., a 20-year-old female was arrested for assault, resisting and obstructing police, a probation violation, and disorderly conduct at 1st St. and 6th Ave.
• At 10:15 p.m., a 45-year-old male was arrested at 9th Ave. and 10th St. on a bench warrant through the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office.

February 10

• At 3:28 a.m., a 40-year-old male was arrested on two counts of disorderly conduct in the 400 block of 2nd St.

February 11

• At 8:00 a.m., a 37-year-old female was cited for texting while driving at 25th St. and 16th Ave.
• At 3:38 p.m., a 35-year-old female was arrested on a bench warrant at 26th Ave. and 16th St.
• At 5:01 p.m., a 38-year-old male was arrested for driving with a revoked license at 13th St. and 28th Ave.
• At 11:37 p.m., a 25-year-old male was arrested at 10th St. and 30th Ave. for driving an unregistered vehicle and having no operator’s license.

• At 4:52 p.m., a 40-year-old male was arrested in the 1300 block of 15th Ave. on a bench warrant and for several charges, including retail fraud, possession of methamphetamine, narcotics, analogues and concealed weapons.

• At 9:22 p.m., a 24-year-old male was arrested for driving with a suspended license at 18th Ave. and 23rd St.

• At 1:25 a.m., a 22-year-old male was arrested at 18th Ave. and Memorial Dr. for a second-offense OWI and having no operator’s license.
• At 11:45 a.m., officers investigated a report of identity theft and fraud at 11th St. and 16th Ave.
• At 4:00 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 20th Ave. and 11th St. that resulted in functional damage but no injuries.

February 14

• At 8:16 p.m., a 63-year-old male was arrested for trespassing at a business in the 2200 block of 13th St.

February 15

• At 6:02 a.m., a 20-year-old male was cited at 10th St. and 30th Ave. for being a minor in possession of marijuana, vaping products, and alcohol.
• At 1:17 p.m., a 55-year-old female was arrested for embezzlement in the 3400 block of 10th St.
• At 2:39 p.m., officers investigated a report of animal cruelty in the 1100 block of 38th Ave.
• At 3:29 p.m., police responded to a possible hit-and-run involving a pedestrian at 10th St. and 9th Ave.; the injured pedestrian was transported to the hospital.
• At 5:24 p.m., a motorist received assistance with a vehicle lockout in the 2300 block of 10th St.
• At 6:43 p.m., a loose chocolate lab was recovered in the 1800 block of 14th Ave. and taken to the animal shelter.

• At 9:20 a.m., a 27-year-old male was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 800 block of 10th Ave.
• At 3:25 p.m., a 45-year-old male was transported from the Iron County Michigan Correctional Facility and lodged at the Menominee County Jail on two misdemeanor warrants.

February 17

• At 12:34 p.m., a 47-year-old male was arrested following a two-vehicle accident at 1st St. and Harbor Dr. for having no insurance and failing to stop within an assured distance.
• At 12:47 p.m., officers investigated a report of three missing weapons in the 900 block of 1st St., later locating them during a search with the owner.

• At 4:48 p.m., a 49-year-old male was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 1300 block of 15th Ave.

February 19

• At 2:16 a.m., a 22-year-old female was arrested for having no operator’s license at 10th Ave. and 25th St.

• At 7:16 a.m., a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault involving Darren M. Washington at 2029 Old Peshtigo Rd. was forwarded to the district attorney.
• At 12:21 p.m., a hit-and-run accident was reported at 2112 Hall Ave. where an unknown vehicle struck a parked car.
• At 12:34 p.m., vehicles driven by Robert Harness and Chris Hendren collided at 2103 Hall Ave.; no injuries were reported.
• At 2:00 p.m., Dayton Daigneault was taken into custody for a probation violation at 3450 Old Peshtigo Rd.
• At 7:51 p.m., Andrew J. Cannon was arrested for a first-offense OWI at 2297 Roosevelt Rd.

• At 9:56 a.m., Rodney Dionne struck a utility pole with a vehicle at 3513 Highland Ave.; no injuries occurred.
• At 5:14 p.m., Charles R. Schultz was arrested at 432 Bridge St. for felony bail jumping and a probation violation.
• At 7:26 p.m., Christopher R. Harris was arrested on a warrant at 1435 Elizabeth Ave.
