Menominee County Sheriff’s Office: October 11 – October 20

October 11

  • A deputy was dispatched at 3:13 a.m. to Million Dollar Rd. in Menominee Township for a personal injury crash where a vehicle driven by a 14-year-old Menominee girl had left the roadway and struck some trees. The driver was transported to the hospital for her non-life-threatening injuries, and the vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.
  • At 1:32 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to East Rd. in Spalding Township for a dog bite complaint after a runner stated she was bit by a dog that ran out of a neighbor’s yard; an investigation was conducted.

October 12

  • A deputy was dispatched at 11:25 a.m. to a business on US 41 in Stephenson Township for a male harassing customers. An investigation was conducted and the suspect — a 35-year-old Stephenson man — was warned of criminal trespass at the business, and the incident was closed.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident on Willow Rd. in Menominee Township at 12:30 p.m. An investigation was conducted, both parties were separated, and the incident was reported and sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.

October 13

  • A deputy arrested a 30-year-old man on a valid warrant for child support out of 41st Circuit Court of Menominee at 4:23 p.m. on First St. in Meyer Township. The man was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.

October 14

  • A deputy was contacted at 9:24 a.m. about a dog running loose in the City of Stephenson whose male owner reportedly allows it to run around and defecate on other people’s property. Contact was made with the dog owner and he was advised to keep his dog off of other people’s property.

October 15

  • A deputy responded to a threat complaint at 7:41 a.m. on 10th Ave. in the City of Menominee where the caller stated she received a threat and wanted the incident documented.
  • A Deputy was advised at 11:17 a.m. to contact a subject in reference to a harassment complaint in Daggett Township, where the caller wanted documentation in case the situation escalated.
  • A deputy was dispatched at 12:26 p.m. to a fraud complaint on US 2 in Spalding Township; the caller reported fraudulent activity, wanted it documented and the investigation is ongoing.

October 16

  • A deputy responded to a damage to property report at 6:05 p.m. on Willow Rd. in Menominee Township. Further investigation found that a neighbor had unintentionally hit the caller’s house with bird shot, causing the damage and the incident is at the prosecutor’s office for review.

October 19

  • A deputy was dispatched at 9:24 a.m. to a suspicious vehicle on Wangerin Rd. in Stephenson Township. Upon arrival, an abandoned vehicle was found to have struck a mailbox, causing minor damage to the post and no damage to the car, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
  • A deputy responded at 9:45 p.m. to a one-vehicle traffic crash on M-35 in Menominee Township. A vehicle driven by Robby Kamin of Marinette was traveling south on M-35 when she left the roadway, entered the ditch and struck some trees. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, but no injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed.

October 20

  • A deputy, along with Spalding Fire, were dispatched at 11:22 a.m. to a structure fire on CR 400. The fire appeared to be accidental, as the owner stated he was burning garbage in a burn barrel and later found the nearby shed fully engulfed. No injuries were reported in the fire.

Menominee Police Department: November 7 - November 13

November 7

  • Officers investigated a report of a runaway juvenile and arrested a 14-year-old male for violating curfew at 12:25 a.m. at 18th Ave. and 14th St., Menominee.
  • A 28-year-old male was arrested on a bench warrant through Menominee County at 7:54 a.m. in the 1200 block of 10th Ave., Menominee.

November 8

  • A good samaritan turned over a man’s wallet found in the grass near Harbor Dr. and 1st St., Menominee at 12:16 p.m..

November 9

  • A 27-year-old male was arrested for two counts of feeding deer within city limits at 4:55 p.m. in the 4400 block of 10th St., Menominee.
  • A 27-year-old male was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for having open intoxicants in a vehicle at 8:19 p.m. at 10th St. and 36th Ave., Menominee.

November 10

  • Officers investigated a report of an open line to the Menominee County 911 center at 1 a.m. in the 700 block of 9th Ave., Menominee.
  • Officers assisted the Menominee Fire Department at the scene of a structure fire at 7:18 a.m. in the 1100 block of 18th Ave., Menominee.
  • A 49-year-old female was arrested on a felony warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Correction — Rhinelander at 8:03 a.m. in the 1100 block of 18th Ave., Menominee.
  • Officers assisted a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle at 7:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of 10th St., Menominee.

November 11

  • A 41-year-old female was arrested for assault at 2:39 a.m. in the 3500 block of 12th St., Menominee.
  • Officers investigated a report of a hit and run accident at 9:09 a.m. at 6th Ave. and 6th St., Menominee.
  • Officers investigated a report of a hit and run accident at 12:32 p.m. in the 1400 block of 8th Ave., Menominee.
  • Officers took possession of two black lab dogs that were brought to the Menominee County Animal Shelter by the person who found them at 7:31 p.m. near West Dr. and 14th Ave., Menominee.
  • A 32-year-old male was arrested at 10:22 p.m. at 8th Ave. and 11th St., Menominee, on a misdemeanor warrant through the Menominee Police Department, for failing to transfer a registration plate and for having an expired registration plate on a vehicle.

November 12

  • A 35-year-old male was arrested for trespassing at a business at 10:54 a.m. in the 2900 block of 10th St., Menominee.

November 13

  • Officers assisted a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle at 9:20 a.m. in the 4200 block of 10th St., Menominee.
  • An 18-year-old male was cited for disregarding a stop sign at 3:35 p.m. at 11th St. and 9th Ave., Menominee.
  • A 45-year-old female was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated — second offense at 10:19 p.m. at 22nd St. and 28th Ave., Menominee.

Marinette Police Department: November 10 - November 16

November 10

  • A traffic accident occurred at 2:12 p.m. at the intersection of Minnesota St. and Marinette Ave. involving vehicles driven by Mason Heckel and Donavan Gruszynski, with no injuries. Gruszynski was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
  • At 3:52 p.m., Alexander Gilbert was cited for theft at 2910 Roosevelt Rd.
  • Charges for disorderly conduct and physical abuse to a child were forwarded to the district attorney’s office for Amanda Carriveau following an assault incident at 907 Madison Ave. at 8:02 p.m.

November 11

  • At 2:55 a.m., Vadim P. Dikhtyar was taken into custody at 2103 Hall Ave. for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and probation violation.
  • Norman Nelson was cited for disorderly conduct at 706 Main St. at 10:43 p.m.

November 12

  • A traffic accident occurred at 6:48 a.m. at 3423 Cleveland Ave. involving vehicles driven by Nicole Meeks and Mark Pintur, with no injuries and no citations issued.
  • Alexander S. Gilbert was cited for trespassing at 2900 Roosevelt Rd. at 10:13 a.m.
  • At 1:07 p.m., James M. Grossmeyer was cited for possession of THC at Hattie St. and Hall Ave.
  • Jane M. Magnuson was cited for public nuisances affecting peace/safety at 325 State St. at 3:22 p.m.
  • Pierre A. Croskey was taken into custody at 3:26 p.m. at 1450 Marinette Ave. on a warrant, misdemeanor bail jumping and resisting.
  • Jane M. Magnuson was cited for public nuisances affecting peace/safety at 325 State St. at 3:34 p.m..

November 13

  • A vehicle operated by an unknown person struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Rodney Klann at 111 Water St. at 9:35 a.m. in a hit and run accident; no injuries or citations were reported.
  • Derek J. Bregovits was taken into custody for a probation violation at 3540 Old Peshtigo Rd. at 1:33 p.m.
  • Wendell Myers was cited for public nuisances affecting peace/safety at 706 Main St. at 1:35 p.m.
  • Wendell Myers was cited again for public nuisances affecting peace/safety at 706 Main St. at 1:40 p.m..

November 14

  • A traffic accident occurred at 4:40 p.m. at 111 Water St. involving vehicles driven by Kyle Pickard and Reilly Huskey, with no injuries. Pickard was cited for failure to yield to the right away from the stop sign.
    November 15
  • Ladiamond Flowers was cited for possession of THC at 2035 Marinette Ave. at 9:26 p.m.

November 16

  • A vehicle operated by an unknown driver struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Eugenie Loser at 2900 Roosevelt Rd. at 12:51 p.m. in a hit and run accident; no injuries or citations were reported.
  • Isaac J. Eggleston was cited for possession of THC at the intersection of Marinette Ave./Carney Ave. at 6:16 p.m.
