Amberg 43rd Annual Parade and Picnic

AMBERG – The Amberg 43rd Annual Parade and Picnic will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31 with festivities to begin at 11 a.m. with their huge parade through downtown followed by a picnic up at the ball diamond. There will be lots of food at the picnic with a selection of sandwiches, fries, pies, bars, cookies, tortes and other desserts, beer, soda and of course free corn all day long.  

Karaoke with Brenda Lu will take place from noon-3 p.m. Meat raffles will be happening most of day.  There will also be fire department demos, horseshoes tournaments, bouncy houses, venders, Ignition Wrestling at 2 p.m. and two fire department annual raffles. Drawings will happen after the fireworks. The band, Next Myle, will take the stage from 4-8 p.m. and is sponsored by Amberg Pub, GG’s Diner and Amberg Fire Department.  This year, fireworks will light up the sky after the band around 8 p.m. at the ball diamond.
