Peshtigo High School Held Commencement May 26

Peshtigo High School Commencement was held Friday, May 26 at 7 p.m. in the school gym, filled to capacity. Valedictorian was Grant Bauman, and Salutatorian was Achal Gowda. Class officers were President-Grant Bauman, Vice President-Kylie Kotecki, Secretary-Ashley Hanneman, Treasurer-Radwa Farghali. Class Motto was “It is what it is, but it will be what you make of it”; Class Flower was the White Rose and Blue Tip; and Class Colors were Royal Blue and White.

The ceremony started with Pomp and Circumstance by the Concert Band; Star Spangled Banner by Concert Choir Seniors; Welcome was by Grant Bauman-Class President. Bauman then gave his Valedictory Address. “I Am Still Your Dreamer” was sung by the Concert Choir Seniors, followed by Salutatory Address by Achal Gowda. The Concert Band then played Nostalgia.

Scholarships and Military Recognition were presented by Chad Sodini, Principal. Guest Speaker was Mrs. Jaclyn Lemire, and Board of Education Address was by Gary Larsen-School Board President.  Superintendent Patrick Rau gave the Peshtigo School District Address.

Introduction of Class was by Kylie Kotecki-Vice President, and Ashley Hanneman, Secretary. Diplomas were awarded by Gary Larsen, Patrick Rau and Chad Sodini. The Recessional Fanfare was by the Concert Band. Gold Cord Recipients (G); National Honor Society (N); and rho Kappa National Honor Society (R).
